I got an acceptance letter!!!

Really, all of Brazil is overshadowed by receiving an acceptance letter to Starr King tonight. I'm a little amazed because I wasn't expecting to find out quite this soon. I'm completely thrilled, and wishing I could celebrate with everyone in the bay area, but I'm sure I'll find a way to celebrate here. :)

Anyway, that really is the most exciting news, and I'm off to bed now. Dom has a big day of fun planned for tomorrow it sounds like, which will be great, but I think we're waking up fairly early.

    Congratulations! SKSM is lucky to get you. They probably let you know early so no one else could snatch you up ahead of them. Enjoy your trip. Love the pix. I think gitmo might need a bit more than a beach cloth--maybe a couple of throw pillows? xx

    Hey Marcus, a big, hearty congratulations from Stefan and me, and I'm sure Jimmie would congratulate you too if he knew what SKSM was. I'm sure I speak for Unitarians everywhere when I say it is a blessing you were born, and a blessing you will be continuing to share your ministerial gifts with us. Yay, more sermons by Marcus in our future.

    Wahoooooo, and no surprise at all, and we are celebrating here. I am going to celebrate right now by going to sleep (which is the highest form of celebration in my house these days!).
